Terms of Use
The terms on which the possirak service is provided.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for use of the internet newspaper service (the "Service") provided by possirak (the "Company"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and of users.
Article 2 (Effect and amendment)
These terms take effect on being posted on the Service. The Company may amend them where necessary, within the limits of applicable law, and will give notice from seven days before an amendment takes effect.
Article 3 (Provision of the Service)
The Company provides articles and related content. The Service is in principle available 24 hours a day throughout the year, but may be suspended temporarily for system maintenance, replacement or failure, or for other unavoidable reasons such as natural disaster.
Article 4 (User obligations)
Users must not do any of the following.
- Defame others or infringe their rights
- Reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit the Company's content without permission
- Interfere with the stable operation of the Service
- Act contrary to law or public order and morals
Article 5 (User-generated content)
possirak does not at present provide comments, message boards or any other facility for users to post content. No registration or sign-in is required to use the Service.
Should such a facility be introduced, the rights in and responsibility for a post will rest with its author, and where a report is received that a post infringes another person's rights the Company may take interim measures under Article 44-2 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. We will amend these terms and give notice in advance if that happens.
Article 6 (Copyright)
Copyright in the articles, photographs and charts published on the Service belongs to their authors and to the Company. Details are governed by our Copyright Policy.
Article 7 (Limitation of liability)
The Company is not liable for interruptions to the Service caused by force majeure, including natural disaster, power failure or the suspension of a telecommunications provider's service.
The Company is not liable for decisions users make in reliance on information in the Service or for their consequences. In particular, coverage of economic matters is provided for information and does not constitute investment advice.
Article 8 (Disputes)
Any dispute between the Company and a user will in principle be resolved by mutual agreement. Failing agreement, applicable law and commercial practice apply.
